The Cabinet declared and approved a list of the 25 state-owned legal entities to be converted into open joint-stock companies on the 29th of June, 2022, in accordance with the Parliament's approval on the 29th of April of this year on the resolution of shares of state-owned legal entities being publicly traded on the stock exchange in 2022-2023. The first company on this list, the Mongolian Stock Exchange, went in front of other state-owned companies and became the first to become an open joint-stock company.

According to the regular meeting of the Financial Regulatory Commission, dated December 14, 2022, it was decided to register additional shares issued by the Mongolian stock exchange within the register of securities approved for public offering.
