Following the "Rules on open e-auction of coal to be exported," which is approved at the Cabinet meeting of the Government of Mongolia on December 14, 2022, the Mongolian Stock Exchange (MSE) has been organizing an e-auction trading of coal for export starting from February 2023 and has successfully traded 1.2 million tons of coal through a total of 29 trading sessions.

At the regular meeting of the Government of Mongolia on May 3, 2023, the cabinet decided to deliver the coal to be exported to the Gashuunsuhait port through a specific gate to expand the open e-auction trading activities of MSE and to improve the organization of the border port for the delivery of traded minerals to the buyer on time.

Therefore, in the future, the specific field members of the government were assigned to start the open e-trading of minerals in phase and to take measures for the smooth passage of all types of minerals traded online for export through all border ports.
