For more than 10 years, the Mongolian Stock Exchange has continuously organized the “Basic Securities Market Training” to enhance public financial literacy, expand knowledge of the securities market, and improve individuals’ ability to make sound investment decisions.
Based on past experience and growing public demand, the Exchange launched the “Intermediate-Level Securities Market Training,” which was held on May 18, 19, and 20.

A total of 22 participants attended the first intermediate-level training in person. The training was conducted by experienced professionals with many years of expertise in the securities market, delivering in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge.
At the conclusion of the training, Mr. T. Khash-Erdene, Director of the Business Development Department of the Exchange, presented certificates to the participants.

He stated:
“Congratulations to all of you who have successfully completed the intermediate-level securities market training and acquired advanced knowledge beyond the basic level.
We encourage you to share the knowledge and insights gained from today’s training with others, so that more Mongolians can collectively benefit from investment opportunities.”
Participant Interview – Ms. B. Narangerel

– Congratulations on completing the intermediate-level training and receiving your certificate. What are your impressions of the training?
“I am a teacher by profession. I am now entering the second stage of my life—retirement—an intellectually active and meaningful phase where I am planning how to live and work going forward.
Although I became interested in the capital market 10 years ago, I was unable to take the first step toward participating in securities trading and becoming an investor. Looking back, I feel that I missed many opportunities. Therefore, I first enrolled in the basic training in April, and I believe it was the right decision.
Two years ago, I purchased shares of one of Mongolia’s top five banks, but I had not made any further investments since then, as I lacked clarity on how to manage my investments effectively.
Now, through both the basic and intermediate training, I have gained a clear understanding of the principles and direction for my future investments. The training was highly valuable and effective.”
– What inspired you to make your first investment?
“Two years ago, when bank shares were first offered, my 95-year-old father told me, ‘I bought bank shares today.’ Seeing my elderly father investing in his future made me reflect on what I should be doing. That moment inspired me to invest in bank shares.”
– What would you like to say to those interested in this market?
“I would advise everyone to learn about capital market products and services, as well as investment methods and practices, according to their own capacity, and to continuously seek knowledge and information.”
