Meetings Held with Leading Luxembourg Financial Institutions to Strengthen Financial Sector Cooperation Marking the 50th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Mongolia and Luxembourg

As part of the working visit to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg led by Khulan Bat-Erdene, the Deputy Minister of Finance, representatives of Mongolia’s financial sector held meetings with leading Luxembourg institutions in the areas of finance, capital markets, sustainable finance, investment funds, and development cooperation.

During the visit, the Mongolian Stock Exchange met with the management teams of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange /LuxSE/ and the Luxembourg Green Exchange /LGX/ to exchange views on further developing Mongolia’s capital market in line with international standards.

The parties agreed to cooperate in areas including the development of green and sustainable finance products, exploring opportunities for dual-listed securities, expanding access to international investors, and strengthening market infrastructure, regulatory capacity, and human capital.

Luxembourg is one of the world’s leading financial centers in investment funds, international finance, green and sustainable finance, and capital market infrastructure. Its experience is highly relevant to the further development of Mongolia’s capital market.
