The Embassy of Mongolia in the People’s Republic of China, the Mongolia-China Economic and Trade Promotion Center, and Trigtec Investment Advisory jointly organized the “Silk Road Investment VI” Mining Products Trading Forum on June 26, 2026, in Beijing, China.

The forum was officially opened by Mr. Wu Wei, President of the Beijing-Tianjin Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Ts. Tumenbayar, Trade Representative and Counselor of the Embassy of Mongolia in China, delivered opening remarks. Mr. O. Batzayaa, Acting Director of the Mining Products Trading and Registration Department of the Mongolian Stock Exchange, delivered a presentation on the legal environment, regulatory updates, trading supervision, and participation procedures in mining product trading.
In addition, presentations were delivered by:

Mr. S. Gan-Ochir, Director of the Exploration and Mining Department of the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia, on the “Investment Environment of Mongolia’s Mining Sector”;

Mr. D. Bayarbold, Head of the Beijing Representative Office of Erdenes Mongol Group, on “Investment Opportunities and Strategies of Erdenes Mongol Group Subsidiaries”;

Mr. G. Gunbileg, Team Leader at Trigtec Investment Advisory, on “Promoting Investment and Trade in Mongolia’s Mining Sector”;

Mr. Chen Ruibo, Director of the Mongolia-China Economic and Trade Promotion Center, on “Opportunities and Implementation Approaches for Mongolia-China Mining Trade Cooperation”;

Mr. Li Fangge, Deputy Governor of Bank of Tianjin, on “Regulating Cross-border Capital Flows and Establishing a New Financial Services Hub for Cross-border Commodity Trade”;

Hande Law Firm on “Cross-border Legal Services Supporting Mongolia-China Economic and Trade Relations.”

Representatives from both public and private sectors, including mining, finance, and investment companies such as Gan Bumbulug Undraga LLC, Magicbridge LLC, and Apex Capital Securities LLC, also delivered presentations.
More than 80 participants, including representatives from mining companies, banks, financial institutions, and investors, attended the forum. The participants exchanged views on the investment environment in the mining sectors of both countries, cross-border payment solutions, and opportunities for cooperation.
